I think there's still a lot to like about GBII.
ReplyDeleteIt's an interesting, kind of, fourth wall break with Ray and Winston singing the theme.
ReplyDeletePeter MacNicol is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteAlready better than I remember
ReplyDeleteHad the computer game for this one as well. On the Atari ST. The bit where Ray's being lowered down was a level.
ReplyDeleteI was all over it.
I like the whole courtroom sequence.
ReplyDeleteMoranis is great.
DeleteThis new theme is a big part of why I don't have positive memories of this film. It is an abomination.
ReplyDeletePresumably why they rely on Jackie Wilson...
DeleteAh, the installation of Slimer as a central character.
ReplyDeleteWell that wasn't the right extinguisher for a chemical fire.
ReplyDeleteI'd forgotten about the walking Statue of Liberty. Urgh.
ReplyDeleteBit lazy. And I think the biggest problem is it actually less convincing that Stay Puft.
DeleteThe slime blaster things are pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI could cause all kinds of havoc with one of those bad boys.
DeleteHIt and miss...had it's moments either way.
ReplyDeleteThe painting was a cack idea.
Good to see that New York managed to keep that good feeling going even after the symbol of hope was apparently smashed to pieces outside the museum at the end.
ReplyDeleteThat was definitely not Ghostbusters 1
